iPad Letter to Teachers
Hello Teachers! The purpose of this letter is so that you are all aware that your iPads have been moved from one management system to another. Your device will look a little different when you go into it. There are some standard district apps on the iPad that are loaded by default. These include: Drive, Classlink, Chrome, Youtube, Sheets, QR Code, The A App, Epic!, Reading Eggs, Seesaw, and GoNoodle. You will notice another app, loaded by default, called the “Self Service” app. If you click into it and select “Elementary” - you will see the apps that you may have had loaded on them in the past. The neat feature about this is that you can click install on whichever app you would like to have on that specific device. You can install all of them if you choose or you can install select ones. That is up for you to decide. You can also uninstall those apps if you choose. If you notice a free app that you’d like added on here that hasn’t gone through the district approval process, please submit a software request from the Learn Platform (to know more about this process go to www.alexschools.org - click on Staff - Staff Intranet - Instructional Technology - Software/Subscription Information). If there is a paid app that you’d like to use, this request needs to go to your building administrator. If you have any other questions regarding iPads, please reach out to us at tsupport@alexschools.org Sincerely, Your Tech Team
